24H Oost

Throughout 2013, 24H is exploring all corners of Amsterdam. Its second edition stops off in the district of Oost, presenting all that the area has to offer in a blistering 24-hour period.

Be you an old Amsterdammer, new to the city, or a passing tourist, the area’s theatres, museums, clubs, shops and many other famously Amsterdam institutions will open their doors and throw up some special surprises – perfect if you live in the neighbourhood or are just keen to enjoy new experiences east of the Amstel.

Of course the Dutch Resistance Museum takes part in this programme.

Saturday 23 March, 17:00 – 19:00: Dutch Resistance Museum tour

Hidden in the courtyard behind this memorable museum is a brand new development: the new children’s wing. Explore the existing museum and grab a peak at its extension, which is due to open in October.
