123 children in hiding; the Tienray Photobook exhibited

Exhibition on the commemoration album on Hanna van der Voort, nurse, who was responsible for hiding 123 jewish children from the Nazi's in 1942-1944. The children, Max with his bass voice, sad little Wim and many others, were cared for by mostly Catholic families in the South of Holland. The album contains many photos of and stories about the children, often taking and noted during their live in hiding. The album is part of the museums collection since 1998.
