Een museumdocent vertelt tijdens een buurtwandeling over de Hollandsche Schouwburg.

Information about the programme

There are many places, buildings and monuments in the vicinity of the museum that remind us of the Second World War: Artis, the former population registry, the Hollandsche Schouwburg, the monument to the artists' resistance movement, the Auschwitz monument. The museum educators walk with the pupils along these places and tell the students about them.

Age: all levels from age 10 and up
Duration: 90 minutes
Maximum group size: 32 students
Time slot:
Monday to Friday: 14:00 - 15:30. Wednesday: 10.00-11.30, 12.00-13.30 & 14.00-15.30

Supervisor/teacher guide: walk through Plantage Area English or German (for personal use, not for further distribution)

    After the neighborhood walk, the museum docent guides the group into the museum. Here an introduction to the permanent display is given. After this, students visit the museum's permanent display independently, with an audio tour.
